About Dr Loo
Before becoming a full time math tutor, I have held various roles improve students quantitative literacy under secondary and tertiary settings for the past 8 years. With those experience, I realized the importance of a solid quantitative literacy is for students to excel in many of the university modules. Thus, I decided to become a full time Singapore math tutor to provide pre-university students with the best quality of maths education that I have developed. As a professional math tutor, I continually seeking to enhance my math teaching practice in order to achieve the better outcomes in terms of my students’ math progression.

- Exam preparation: It’s never too early to start preparing for exam. Students will be taught how to tackle challenging maths questions even way before the exams so as to better prepare for coming examination.

About Singapore JC H1 Math & H2 Math
Mathematics knowledge is important for students as it lays an important foundation for the field of Engineering, Business, Science, Medicine etc.

PROS AND CONS OF PRIVATE MATH TUITION
Pros
Sometimes it could be difficult to choose whether to take a private math tuition class or join a group tuition. I would like to offer some of my advice regarding the selection. The tutor only has one student to teach in a private math tuition class. Thus, the tutor would be able to give the full focus to the student. In addition, the structure of a class and how a lesson is being delivery will be customized according to the pace of the student.

However, the cost of private math tuition is normally more expensive than group tuition class.

Tips on taking a mathematics exam
- Translate problems into a language your understand.
- Analyze a question carefully before computing, especially a problem worth a lot of points.
- Make a picture. Sometimes drawing picture/diagram can help you understand a question better.
