MY TEACHING JOURNEY
I am a PhD holder with 10 years of teaching experience in teaching secondary school students, university students and providing consultation to PhD candidates and academic staffs such as lecturer. Before becoming a full time math tutor, I have been teaching students from different backgrounds and practicing to apply different teaching practices to teach secondary and university students for their learning needs. Such experience has enabled me to develop my own unique mathematics teaching practice for O-level maths & JC maths.
Realising that quantitative literacy is an important aspect for many of the university modules, this inspired me to eventually become a full time math tutor to prepare secondary students with the best quality of maths education that I have created. As a professional math tutor, I continually seeking to enhance my math teaching practice in order to achieve the better outcomes in terms of my students’ math progression to more advance educational levels.
Apart from the O-level maths tutors who also teach other subjects, I am solely focusing on teachng mathematics & statistics in order to create a cutting edge math expertise as my core expertise.

PROS AND CONS OF TAKING PRIVATE SECONDARY MATH TUITION
Pros
Sometimes it could be difficult to choose whether to take a private O-level math tuition class or join a group tuition. I would like to offer some of my advice regarding the selection. The home tutor only has one student to teach in a private math tuition class. Thus, the maths tutor would be able to give the full focus to the student. In addition, the structure of a class and how a lesson is being delivery will be customized according to the pace of the learner.
Cons
However, the cost of private secondary math tuition is normally more expensive than group tuition class.

O-level Elementary Mathematics
O-level E-maths aims to provide students with the fundamental mathematical knowledge. For students taking O-level E-maths, they will be studying topics such as Number and Algebra, Geometry and Measurement, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to basic mathematical knowledge, O-level E-maths can also help students to develop relavents skills such as reasoning, communication and connections, thinking skills and heuristics, and application and modelling.

The syllabus in O-level A-maths lays an important foundation for students to pursue A-Level H2 Mathematics. - Translate problems into a language your understand.
- Analyze a question carefully before computing, especially a problem worth a lot of points.
