Chain Rule
Using chain rule, write down the derivative function for the following functions.
- y = (x+2)3
- y = 1/(x+3)
- 3(x+2)2
- -1/(x+3)2
Note:
dy/dx = dy/du * du/dx
Where
y = f(u)
u = g(x)
Chain rules is normally applied to a composite function.
